Anna-Marie Descartes is redefining self care and confidence for modern women. As a London-based DJ, Presenter, and Wellness Entrepreneur, Anna-Marie is using her platform to help women feel confident, consistent, and unapologetically themselves. She is the host of the AM to PM Podcast, a self-described “unfiltered survival guide for everyday life,” and the founder of Carte Wellness, a lifestyle platform that makes self-care simple, sexy, and realistic for busy schedules.

Entertainment With Intention

Known for her infectious energy and on-stage presence, Anna-Marie has hosted panels, festivals, and cultural events across the UK, including residencies at Soho House and Kindred. She’s the creator of the award-winning music talk show Live With Anna-Marie and has worked with brands like Netflix, Levi’s, and MOBO. As a DJ, she blends Afro-Caribbean sounds with R&B, house, and electronic to create memorable, high-energy sets for diverse audiences.

Wellness That Werks

Anna-Marie began her wellness journey through personal growth and self-discovery, developing accessible routines to support confidence and mental clarity. She now shares those practices through workshops, content, and her free AM to PM Wellness Guide. Her mission is to help others show up for themselves with joy, softness, and structure, without the pressure to be perfect.

Anna-Marie’s Mission

Anna-Marie seeks to make self care sexy and taboo topics trendy. She isn’t afraid to dive into the unknown and kick doors down for others to experience.

Outside of entertainment, Anna-Marie cares about inspiring others to become their best selves and live their best lives through simple everyday self care practices.

Through her own struggles with her personal image and confidence in her early 20’s, Anna-Marie created her own self care routines to transform her into who she is today and embarked on her journey into the wellness/lifestyle in 2020 with the launch of her first brand, House of Embrace. Anna-Marie continues to share the importance of looking after self on her social media and through her “Getting It Together” workshop series.

She is also passionate about Black Women’s empowerment, neurodivergent educational support and creative opportunities for young people in the UK and Caribbean.
