The Everyday Essentials That Keep Me Going (and Glowing) from AM to PM

Perfect Ted’s Vanilla Bean Matcha is my current go to at any time of day.

If there’s one thing I swear by, it’s keeping beauty and wellness simple but effective. As someone who’s constantly on the go - whether I’m DJing, hosting, or just navigating a busy day, I don’t have time for overcomplicated routines. That’s why I’ve curated a set of tried and true essentials that keep me feeling fresh, polished, and put together from morning to night.

1. Iron Tablets & Sea Moss – The Inner Glow Essentials

I’ve been an anemic girlie for most of my life so I literally cannot live without Iron tablets. As well as reducing fatigue and that head-spinning feeling you get when you stand up too fast, iron is great for skin, nails and hair health, improve sleep quality and brain function. Same as Seamoss! I make sure to have a tablespoon everyday on its own or blended into my smoothies. It’s like a beauty boost from the inside out. Don’t forget to grab some from my wellness shop.

2. Olive Oil & Coconut Oil – The Secret to Soft, Glowing Skin and Healthy Teeth

A true multi-tasking queen. I use olive oil to cook most meals, but it’s also a skin and hair saviour. A little on my body keeps my skin soft and nourished, and I love adding a few drops to my hair for extra shine. I use coconut oil every night for my oil pulling routine before I brush my teeth. It helps keep my mouth fresh and clean as it reduces build up of bad bacteria.

3. Glossier Lip Balm - My Lips Be Poppin’

I can’t live without a good lip balm. You should know that I ALWAYS have a lip liner and lip gloss on site and Glossier’s Balm Dotcom (Birthday flavour to be specific) stays in my bag at all times. It keeps my lips moisturised, adds a little sparkle and tastes SO good! Honourable mention: the Black Cherry flavour is also delicious if you love a lip tint. Budget friendly: f you can’t get yourself some Glossier, then Vaseline always does the trick.

4. KIND Snack Bars – A Quick & Tasty Pick-Me-Up

Between my day job, events, and late-night sets, I need easy, nutritious snacks to keep me going. KIND Bars are a perfect source of protein for when I need something quick but satisfying, keeping me fuelled without a sugar crash. The Caramel Almond Sea Salt is my current fave.

5. Perfect Ted Vanilla Bean Matcha – Energy Without the Jitters

I love a good caffeine boost, but lately, I’ve been opting for something gentler than coffee. Perfect Ted’s Vanilla Bean Matcha is easy to make at home with just milk, gives me sustained energy and focus without the crash - meaning I can have it in the AM and the PM.

6. AKT Natural Deodorant (That Actually Works)

Since I’m always on the go and mingling with people, it’s important that I stay fresh. I’ve tried pretty much every natural deodorant there is to try (Sea Salt is the worst, do not even bother with that) so it’s rare that I’m actually impressed with a formula.

I’ve been using AKT - Columbia Road for 2-3 months and it’s one of few natural deodorants that will last all day. I trust it so much that I don’t even carry it in my bag because I know I won’t need to top up. Downsides are: My armpits can feel a bit clogged after prolonged wear and the tube starts to mash up after a while.

7. Zara Red Temptation Perfume – A Quality Dupe

On the topic of smells, fragrance is a must for me, and Zara perfumes give luxury on a budget. A spritz before I step out the door or topping up before a meeting instantly makes me feel put together and confident.

I’m currently using Zara’s Red Temptation which is a well known dupe for MFK’s Baccarat Rouge 540 (my absolute FAVOURITE fragrance, but that price tag is reserved for special occasions) and I always get compliments. Will it last all day? No. Do I feel expensive wearing it? Absolutely.

From AM to PM, these essentials keep me feeling my best; energised, glowing, and ready to take on whatever the day (or night) brings. What are your everyday must haves? Let me know in the comments! AMD x
