After multiple years as a Radio Presenter on community stations such as Westside, No Signal to working as a Creative Consultant for upcoming music artists, Anna-Marie made the decision to embark on her DJ journey in 2021 playing at local bars and markets in London.
Combining her knowledge of music curation, exposure to the DJ scene from a young age and self proclaimed “tropical taste”, Anna-Marie enjoys blending Afro-Caribbean sounds with RnB, House and Electronic music.
In the summer of 2023, Anna-Marie was featured on Alice Dale’s BBC Upload Show on BBC Radio London as the DJ of the week. Listen to the mix on her Soundcloud.
Since adding DJing to her already multi-faceted portfolio, AMD has played for the likes of Netflix (The Kitchen Premiere, London 2024), Levi’s and Sunday Girl Magazine launch parties. She loves playing to a diverse range of crowds to introduce as many new people to the AMD Afro movement.
AMD can be found at various residencies around London including Amazing Grace, Soho House, The Broadcaster, Pop Brixton and is set to cast her net further in 2024. Anna-Marie is available for corporate, commercial and international gigs.
